  • Children Ready to Start their New Term at School in 2020.

We have 23 children attending Maasai Corner School, which is much closer to Footprints, making transport easier, a welcome change after the roads became impassable at the end of last year.

6 of our children are away at secondary school, 4 children attend the local school, Stephan Kanja, and Sera is at Makemba School.

The 4 oldest children have now completed their secondary education, so now we must consider their next steps. Further education is an option and we are exploring all avenues.

Each and every one of the children is unique and we are trying hard to find the best education for each of them, helping them gain the skills towards independence.

We have bursaries for several of the secondary school children, from Base Titanium and hopefully will be eligible for some grants to help our older children to access further education, from the Kenyan Government.

Thank you all for your continued support. x

  • School Uniform Appeal 2019.

We posted this school uniform appeal in December and would like to thank everyone who helped us to ensure all of our children are smart and ready for the new academic year.

Your continued support enables our children to access education, which is their opportunity to have more choices in life and build a positve future.

    Asante Sana x

  • Bakari gets Rugby Opportunities in 2020.

    Bakari is pursuing his dream.

He was spotted by Homeboyz Rugby Club and played in his first match, for the first team  on Saturday 11th January 2020.

The club is supporting him with accommodation and food. He is now living in Naiobi for the season.

Playing in this league, gives opportunity to be talent spotted and  two other teams have shown interest in him, they could offer him more financial support and further education. They are already offering to pay for him to have driving lessons and attend computer courses.

Huge congratulations go to Bakari, he is a real role model for the younger children.

If you follow your dreams and work hard opportunities will come along.

He is taking his and we all wish him much success.
