Footprints Orphanage
  • It's time once again to start thinking about buying your tickets for our 10th Foootprints annual ball.

    Details below.

  • ‘‘A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.’’

    Forest E. Witcraft

A truly inspirational quote and one which has formed the core philosophy of Footprints Orphanage, a charity founded by Kerry Watson of Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire in 2007, after a life changing trip to Kenya.  Picture the reality of the children’s lives on a day to day basis and it is almost incomprehensible, limited food, no shelter, no parents to guide and provide security, the experience of true poverty.

Kerry and her team have worked tirelessly to build a home for orphaned and abandoned children. Thanks to the kind contributions from local businesses and people like you, Footprints Orphanage is now home to over thirty children.

Fund raising is critical for the continued existence of the charity and the welfare of the children in its care.

Our next fundraising event is our annual ball which will take place on Saturday 24th November 2018, at St George’s Park, Burton on Trent, where a luxury raffle and auction will take place for all the guests present.

We hope we can call on your generosity in our effort to secure excellent prizes. A donation large or small would be gratefully received. We guarantee that every penny raised at the event will go directly to the children at Footprints Orphanage and will transform the lives of even more needy children.

If you could donate a prize please contact us via email; info@footprintsorphanage.com.
