Why not get the children at your school supporting Footprints.
Have a look at how some schools have got involved.
“Wednesday 6th February 2018
Pingle Academy, Swadlincote have again been raising funds for Footprints.
Marian Askew, Committee Member and Volunteer was invited along to Year 9 Assembly to receive money raised from a recent non- uniform day.
A cheque for £723 was presented by two Year 9 pupils.
Staff and pupils were interested to hear of developments at Footprints, the amazing achievements of the older children’s exam results enabling them to be accepted into good secondary schools and how the funds raised will be spent (mainly on educational needs).
This tied in well with the assembly as Mrs Sharples, Principal, spoke about how tremendously proud she is of the achievements of the pupils and the school.
Over the past three years Pingle Academy have raised well over £2,500 for Footprints. In 2017 they collected 9 large boxes of shoes for the children!!
A very big thank you to pupils and staff at Pingle Academy for your generous donations and wonderful support, it is greatly appreciated.
You really are helping to make a difference to the lives of the children at Footprints. We look forward to continuing to work with you.
